Many times I have longed for something like a new job, a particular car, a new home or something on a Trademe or Ebay site and have lost it to another person. It can be very frustrating and upsetting when you miss out on what you feel is a perfect opportunity to gain something. However to be honest I cannot remember missing out on anything that I still wish to this day that I had obtained, why is that?
The reason is, that the home I ended up buying was much nicer and more suitable for my family, the car I wanted turned out to be much more expensive to run and unreliable than the one I ended up getting, and many times I have lost a bid on Trademe only to buy it cheaper at a later date. I am not saying don’t go for it if you want it, I am saying don’t get frustrated if you have done all you can to achieve it and it doesn’t happen.
